5 / 10 Filterstudy Score
PFE1 Efficiency (0.3-1 μm)2.3
PFE2 (1-3 μm)6.1
Permeability / Pressure Drop6.6
Pros
* Fits most furnaces, air handlers and filter-grilles.

* Higher MERV rating than advertised.
Cons
* Terrible performance at filtering 0.3-1µm particles, which are more likely to lead to chronic lung-related conditions.

* Average performance at filtering 1-3µm particles, which are more likely to cause various respiratory problems and other health and productivity issues.

* Less than OK air permeability. The lower the permeability score, the more strain the filter would put on your equipment which can dramatically increase the cost of operating your furnace, air conditioner, and heat pump.

* High maintenance. Requires frequent replacements.
